USA National 4-H Members Conference

For current 4-H members ages 16-19 at the time of travel

USA National 4-H Members Conference

The USA National 4-H Conference (www.4-h.org/4-h-conference) is America's annual premiere national civic engagement opportunity for 4-H members across the USA and beyond. In addition to conference learning, members will have the opportunity to apply their newly developed and refined skills.

Delegates will choose an important societal topic and in round table groups prepare a briefing. During the conference, the groups present their briefing to federal officials around the Washington, D.C. area.

In addition to conference activities, Canadian delegates will have a chance to tour Washington, visiting some of the nation's most famous cultural and political sites, including the Lincoln Memorial and Capitol Hill.

To apply for this conference, please complete the online 4-H Ontario National Opportunity Registration Form available here:

Upon being selected an additional approximate $600 registration fee is to be paid to 4-H Canada.

Ontario delegates for this opportunity are supported by the Katherine & Byron Beeler Leadership & Citizenship Endowment Fund

“It was neat to see that this conference was developed by youth for youth. As Canadians we came together to share our ideas and also take back information from educational sessions on how our southern partners are handling the latest innovative business strategies, preparing themselves for the future and promoting the 4-H program.”

- Patrick, Conference Delegate 2008
