Many 4-H Clubs have been wrapping up recently and celebrating Member accomplishments with Achievement Days and 4-H special events. Next month is
4-H Month so be sure to continue to celebrate 4-H. There are many ways to celebrate. You can Show Your 4-H Colours like the Teeswater-Culross Beef Club, nominate an outstanding Volunteer in your area for the Syngenta 4-H Ontario Arbor Award, share your ideas for the upcoming Volunteer Conference and Annual Meeting or tweet about why you love 4-H! Have a wonderful October and enjoy the fall season.

Syngenta 4-H Ontario Arbor Award Nominations

We’re calling for nominations! Suggest to 4-H Ontario what Volunteer in your area deserves the 2012 Syngenta 4-H Ontario Arbor Award which is the most distinguished 4-H Ontario Volunteer award. Volunteer nominations must come from local Associations before the November 15th deadline.

CAM Call for Workshop Ideas
It’s official. We want your suggestions on the 2012 Conference and Annual Meeting Volunteer workshop offerings. If you have a great idea you want to share at CAM, or just a topic you are interested in learning about please share it with us. Fill out the online suggestion form to let us know what workshops you'd like to see. The form will be online until November 1st.

Show Your 4-H Colours
On November 2nd join 4-H’rs across Canada by “Getting Your Green On”. Wear anything and everything green to show your 4-H spirit. 4-H Canada is also giving out “Show Your 4-H Colour” Party Kits on a first come first serve basis. The kits include green action pens, magnetic notepads, logo stencils, streamers, balloons and a t-shirt kit. More details here >

Matt Hill joined the 4-H Staff team in April 2011 as the Coordinator, Volunteer Support - Region 1 & First Nations Outreach. Matt is a kind and thoughtful person who's a fantastic addition to the 4-H family.  Meet Matt >

Leading Edge Summit
On October 18 - 19 learn "How to Make Change Happen in Your Community" at the Leading Edge Summit. This Steps to Leadership Program is sure to give you new ideas and share innovative tools and techniques that can help you make change happen!
