Camp and conference season is now upon us, with the first of our Sen$e programs taking place earlier this month. Dairy Sen$e was another big success with young dairy enthusiasts, and Sheep & Goat Sen$e is quickly approaching too! Know a new club leader who's making a difference in your Association? Nominate them for the 4-H Ontario Outstanding New Leader Award. We also have some new resources available online and a quick Volunteer Survey we'd like your feedback on in order to serve you better.




Sold out conference prepares young dairy farmers

From May 1-3, a group of young dairy enthusiasts came together at the University of Guelph campus for a conference in dairy management, co-managed by 4-H Ontario and the Ontario Holstein Branch. To read a full recap and view photos from the conference click here >

Sheep & Goat Sen$e is a 3-day, 2-night conference for senior youth to learn about the business of sheep or goat production. Participate in sessions from industry experts and tour local operations for a hands-on view. Register by June 5 here >
Brand new resources were released at CAM, including the new project Trash To Treasure, as well as several new handbooks. The Our Heritage and Judging projects have also been updated, as well as the Judging Toolkit, Safety First - In and Around the Home, plus the Secretary and Press Reporter handbooks too! The 4-H Ontario Outstanding New Leader Award is back. These awards recognize volunteers who are new to 4-H (less than 3 years), and who are doing great things for youth members in their clubs. To nominate a great young leader, click here >
The 4-H Ontario Project Resources Survey is a survey for 4-H volunteers. The purpose of this survey is to help us determine how to best serve 4-H volunteers and to establish resource needs going forward. To complete the survey and send us your feedback click here >
