Happy New Year!

This E-Newsletter is going to start your 4-H Ontario year off on the right foot. There's so many great opportunities to get involved in this year! Have a read through the below information for a brief recap on what's coming up in 2012. There are camps, conferences, competitions, scholarships and a whole lot more. Here's to 2012!

2012 Special Edition In Mailboxes This Month

The 2012 4-H Ontario Special Edition Magazine is coming out at the end of this month. Make sure to check your mailboxes for this special edition which outlines the many Clubs, camps, conferences and scholarships available throughout 2012. This is your all access pass to 4-H so you don’t want to miss it!

Amber Underwood Memoria News Competition Winners
Congratulations to Mackenzie Dickie and Nicole Shelley! These 4-H Members were the winners of the Amber Underwood Memorial News Competition for the junior and senior divisions, respectively. The Amber Underwood Memorial News Competition is an opportunity for 4-H Members to develop and exhibit their writing skills. More than 15 well-written entries were received from 4-H Members across Ontario for the 2011 competition. Thanks for all those who submitted entries!  More >
 
Submit Club Reports Online
Club Press Reporters can now share their hard work with the online world by posting Club reports on 4-HOntario.ca. You may even see your reports shared on Facebook and Twitter too! Check out the easy and simple way to submit Club reports online here >
Meet Elizabeth and Hanica

Volunteer Symposiums
4-H Ontario invites all Volunteers to their regional Volunteer Symposium! Each of the six free, day-long Volunteer Symposiums hosted across the province are a great opportunity to meet and share with Volunteers from across your 4-H region. More info here >
Dream Dinner Lottery 2012
Don’t forget to purchase your tickets for the Dream Dinner Lottery. There are a total of five amazing prizes to be won. If dinner for two anywhere in the world including transportation, deluxe accommodation and $500 spending money sounds good to you, then be sure to purchase tickets. OAC Business Contest
Partner Message - This is a great opportunity for grade 11 and 12 students who are interested in business. The Business Reach Ahead Case Study Competition provides students the opportunity to showcase their academic and business talents in a competition setting. CIFS Bursary
Partner Message - Attention first year university and college agriculture students. This is your opportunity to help offset education costs with a $2500 bursary. Future Leaders In Action
FLIA is an interactive leadership development opportunity that will combine leadership training and fun activities for a four-day, three-night experience participants will never forget.
