4-H Ontario celebrates volunteers with adoption of the Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement

4-H Ontario is celebrating National Volunteer Week with the adoption of the Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement. The Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement is a guide that will allow 4-H Ontario to strengthen their volunteer engagement strategy and commitment to creating future leaders.

Announcing the 2019 4-H Ontario Ambassadors

4-H Ontario is proud to announce the selection of six new Ambassadors who will represent the organization across the province in 2019. The following six 4-H members were chosen to fulfill this prestigious role: Christie Annett (Lambton), Rose Danen (Perth), Allison French (Peel), Mel Karpenko (Peel), Michaella Snyder (Waterloo) and Rebecca Stockdale (Peterborough).

Volunteers Honoured with 2019 4-H Ontario Arbor Award, sponsored by Bayer

4-H Ontario is proud to announce the recipients of this year’s 4-H Ontario Arbor Award, sponsored by Bayer, a prestigious honour recognizing exemplary volunteer service with 4-H Ontario. In 2019, the following three 4-H Ontario volunteers received an Arbor Award: Anne Verhallen (Chatham-Kent 4-H), Barbara McKenna *Posthumously (Hamilton- Wentworth 4-H) and Edna White (Kawartha Lakes-Haliburton 4-H).

Volunteers Recognized at 4-H Ontario Milestone Awards, sponsored by Bayer

4-H Ontario is proud to announce a record number of volunteers were recognized for their long-standing volunteer positions with 4-H Ontario. At the 2019 Volunteer Milestone Luncheon, sponsored by Bayer, 73 volunteers were honoured for their valued years of service with 4-H Ontario.

Nicole French Announced As 2019 Director-Youth On The Ontario 4-H Council Board of Directors

ROCKWOOD, ON (February 25, 2019) – 4-H Ontario is excited to announce Nicole French as the new 2019 Director-Youth on the Ontario 4-H Council Board of Directors. The Director-Youth is responsible for bringing the views and issues of the 4-H members to the Ontario 4-H Council discussions and assisting with the development of the 4-H Ontario program.
