Breadventure Project
Meetings will be held in-person in Newington, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on the following dates: January 25, February 1, 8, 15, 29 and March 7. Achievement Date is tentatively March 9, to be confirmed. Registration will start on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 @ 5:00 pm by emailing Denise Beaudette-Manley (denisemanley68@gmail.com) until January 12th or until the club is full. The club will be limited to 12 members, register early!!

Cloverbud Program
Cloverbuds is a program geared towards children between the ages of 6 to 8 (prior to January 1, 2024). This year, Stormont is offering 9 meetings with topics ranging from dairy, sports, crafts, judging, financials..etc. Process to sign up: 1) Register and pay membership at 4-H 2024 Registration (click on link in Registration) 2) Once you have registered and paid your fee, please forward your participant information (you will receive that after you register and pay) to Susanna at jsbretzler@gmail.com **Youth leaders are always welcome, please email Susanna to discuss!! Meetings will be held in-person within Stormont County (locations TBD) on either Friday evening (6:00-7:30pm) or Saturday mornings (9:30-11:00am). Meeting dates: - February 29th (this is the only Thursday evening) - March 23rd - April 13th - May 31st - June 14th - July 27th - August 17th - September 6th - September 20th Sign up deadline is Sunday, February 25th, 2024.
Goat Project
A new club is starting in Stormont County - Goat and Sheep Club! This club is an introduction to sheep and goats, where we will learn about what different breeds are raised for, nutrition and caring for the animals. We will visit several sheep farms to see how they are grown and raised, learn about showing sheep and learn what is required to raise sheep. We will also visit some goat farms to see how dairy and meat goats are raised, learn about special requirements and some of the fun of raising these animals! Foods Project

The club will explore a large variety of recipes all inspired by different foods and special dishes in Disney Movies (how would you like to actually try "the grey stuff") and throughout the Disney Parks!! members (ages 9 to 21 as January 1st, 2024) preparing 2 dishes from favourite Disney movies. Members will be learning tools in the kitchen, following recipes, and taking their creations home to share with their family! Leaders Kenda tePlate and Sarah Nuttall will hold in-person meetings at 15808 Concession 1-2 Road, Finch at the following dates, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.; Tuesday, April 9th, April 16th, April 23th, April 30th, May 7th and May 14th. Dairy Project
The Goldfield Calf Club will start taking registration on March 25, 2024 until April 11, 2024. Please contact Kelsey (goldfieldholsteins@gmail.com) to register or for further information. Leaders will be Kelsey Smith, Cassidy Smith, Aimee Norman, Jakob Vogel, Jill Robinson and Jennifer Waldroff. Members will learn what to look for when choosing a project animal, how to care for it, clip it, show prep and how-to-show in showmanship and conformation. Stormont 4-H Dairy Club focuses on the preparation of animals and member skills for competition, with a special focus on showmanship. Small fees will include supplies to ready your calf for 4-H rallies and shows. For example, topline brush, sprays, feed for shows and straw. Club registration, for members aged 9 to 21 years of age, will start Wednesday, April 3 at 6:00 p.m. and closes on April 20th. Beef Project
Stormont Beef Producers Join us to learn all about beef cattle. We will cover judging, showmanship, conformation, proper handling and nutrition. Breeding, genetics and current industry topics to also be discussed. Members are to supply their own show clothing (white shirt with no logo, black pants, belt and steel-toe boots). Large items such as blowers, clippers, etc are available to use. Members having their own number harness is preferred. Combs and show sticks available for borrowing on show day only! There is no member limit. Project animals are to be supplied by the member, unless there is already an agreement in place with the leaders. Stormont 4-H Beef Producers leaders are Donna MacDonald, Travis & Ashley Taillon. Registration starts Friday, April 5th @ 7:00 p.m. until April 24th @ 7:00 p.m. Please email Donna (donnaleemac30@gmail.com) to register or if you have any questions.
