Thinking of a Career in the Dairy Industry?  

If you answered yes, then Dairy Sen$e® is for you! Dairy Sense provides an opportunity to develop business skills, network with others in the dairy industry, learn advanced agriculture knowledge and gain industry insights. Dairy Sen$e runs from May 3-5, 2018 at the University of Guelph and is open to 4-H members and non-members ages 18-25. Find out more and register for the conference here>

  
 
L.E.A.D. Scholarship Winners  
On February 8 at 4-H Canada's Leadership Summit in Ottawa, 4-H youth were awarded with $20,000 L.E.A.D. scholarships. Evan Krebs (Huron) and Sadie-Jane Hickson (KLH) were our two winners from Ontario. Read on to see Evan and Sadie-Jane's bios.  
4-H Canada Launches Hands To Larger Service  
As part of the this program, 30 4-H Youth Service Leaders will be selected to travel, lead and promote the value of community engagement, volunteerism and service in Canada, and to help create a culture of service for Canada youth in communities across the country. Congrats to April-Jean Lee Hickson and Logan Emiry 
We are proud to announce April-Jean Lee Hickson of Kawartha-Lakes Haliburton as our new Youth Director, as well as Logan Emiry of Sudbury as our new Youth Advisory Committee Representative.
Welcome New Ambassadors - The 4-H Ontario Youth Ambassadors have been chosen for 2018! Welcome to Mélissa Brisson (Russell), Devin Catt (Elgin), Andrea Dohner (Elgin), Nicole French (Peel), Evan Jenkins (Elgin) and Kyle Nussey (Oxford). Read on for more about these new Ambassadors here. These six youth will be officially announced at the 2018 Ambassador Reception taking place on February 24 in Guelph. Tickets can be purchased here. We'd also like to thank our 2017 Ambassadors for all of their efforts throughout 2017.
