The day’s itinerary is as follows:
Welcome
11 a.m. Arrive, register, enjoy lunch.
Tournament Format (Shot-gun start at 12:30 p.m.)
4 Person Scramble
A scramble format means that all four team members tee off on each hole and then decide which tee shot they like the best and mark the spot with a tee or ball marker. The other players pick up their balls and place it within 12 inches (no closer to the hole) of the marked spot. All four players hit their shot from the chosen spot. This procedure is followed on every shot for the remainder of the hole. Putts need to be made within 3 inches of the marked spot (no closer to the hole). The first ball to go in the hole is counted for the team score.
Men will always tee off from the white tees, and women will always tee off from the red tees. Each team member must use at least one tee shot during the eighteen holes. Make a note on the scorecard to indicate whose tee shot was used on each hole.
To maintain the speed of play, please pick up your ball and move to the next hole once you exceed double par. Record double par on your scorecard.
Submit your scorecard to the pro shop immediately following the tournament play. The tournament winners will be the team with the lowest overall score.
Prizes: Men’s and women’s closest to the pin is at hole #17. Longest drive for men and women will be on hole #9. There will be a putting contest on the practice green for the duration of the tournament.
