After all of last years fun in the "great chicken and egg project" and the "home for the holidays club", a new year of 4-H fun presents its self. Last year was great and we learned loads. Now were back for more.

In the chicken and egg project we learned most things there are to know about chicken and egg cuisine, nutrition, and how it gets to our tables from the farm. We still have one question,"which came first?"

Home for the holidays was fun too. It introduced us to the origins of most of our Christmas traditions and of other ones too. We made lots of chocolate and peppermint treats in the spirit of Christmas. We made cards and decorations too. You may have seen one of our sock snowmen in the winter 2011 edition of 'leadership in action'

We're definitely excited to get into a new project, photography! The Beechwood #2 Picture People consists of 9 returning members and 4 new additions. One of the newbies is the only boy in the group, should be interesting for him!
