In order to recognize youth with an interest in Red & White Holsteins, the Canadian Red & White Holstein Club has established a nationwide contest for 2010. Canada will be divided in four areas: West, East, Ontario and Quebec. There will be one winner per region. All Canadian youth who complete a 4-H or AJRQ (Association des Jeunes Ruraux du Quebec) dairy project this year showing a true Red & White Holstein calf are eligible to enter a draw for one of four special edition Canadian Red & White Holstein Club jackets. The Canadian 4-H Classic Junior Dairy Show committee is preparing for its 31st show that will once again take place at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. The show continues to be the highlight of a 4-H dairy member’s career and is a tremendous way to conclude the year with the electric atmosphere at the Royal. TD Canada Trust Agricultural Services, Kubota Canada, Holstein Canada and the Semex Alliance and their partners are once again the sponsors of our show and they were delighted with the working relationship that they had last year and are looking forward to the future with this amalgamation of sponsors.
